painted on location at mission point resort on beautiful mackinac island during which i had a conversaion with a dude who strolled up to see what i was up to. we shared little bits of infomation we knew about the property. he asked how i knew so much about the place. i told him i read up on the history just out of curiosity, i asked him how he knew so much....he responded with "i own the place". we had a good laugh, shook hands & exchanged names.
